The Vietnam War film. Legendary director Stanley Kubrick presents the horror and insanity of war as seen through the eyes of a young U.S. Marine. By brutally splitting the film into two pieces, Kubrick observes the dehumanising effects the war has on the recruits, first following the young boys as they endure their brutal boot camp training, then tracking the type of soldiers, and men, they become through the unimaginable savagery of battle. Two halves that look and feel totally different, but are sewn together with a craftsmanship that creates one of the greatest and most important war films of all time.

We're very please to announce a brand new venue for the autumn season. IWM London is a truly inspiring new location, and to coincide with their latest exhibition Real to Reel: A Century of War Movies, we will be screening essential war film, Full Metal Jacket. Be transported, as you take your seat in this historic building, surrounded by the exhibits, including one breathtaking Spitfire which is positioned overhead.

Please note: tickets will include entry to the film, entry to Real to Reel: A Century Of War Movies and a glass of fizz on arrival.
