The Bleeding Heart Yard is a cobbled courtyard off Greville Street in the heart of Hatton Garden where the movie was filmed. According to the legend, Lady Elizabeth Hatton was murdered in 1626, with her body found in what became known as Bleeding Heart Yard. She had spent the evening before the gruesome discovery at a ball in Hatton House dancing with Senor Gondomar, the Spanish Ambassador, and disappeared into the night with him. When found, in Bleeding Heart Yard, her body was described as having been “torn limb from limb” and with her heart “still pumping blood onto the cobblestones”. Many say that they still feel the spirit of Lady Elizabeth in the modern day Bleeding Heart Yard.

It’s history is fascinating, but let’s fast forward a bit. Today it is home to a diverse mix of creative industries - sitting happily alongside the traditional jewellers who have been here more than 100 years. A district is renowed globally for its master craftsman, diamond retailers, suppliers of precious metals, gems and jewels, all interwoven within a vibrant mix of historic streets, iconic buildings, vibrant eateries, creative industries and the characterful Leather Lane Market.

The screening at Bleeding Heart Yard will be a silent screening and will use wi-fi headphones
