Chris joined the Nomads in 1999 after having moved to Reigate after 35 years living mostly in South Wales. He began acting with The Nomads in Oh! What a Loverly War!, followed by Deathtrap, in which he played the evil Sidney Bruhl. In January 2000 he played J M Barrie in Peter Pan and then Deputy Governor Danforth in The Crucible (both here and in Edinburgh). In 2001 he was lucky enough to play two wonderful musical parts - Fagin in Oliver! and the Emcee in Cabaret. After the small (but perfectly formed) production of Zoo Story, Chris directed his first main house production for The Nomads - Hay Fever. |
