Details of Nomad Fund Raising activities will appear on this page.

The Nomads will be represented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer with the play A Few Good Men. Over the last year a variety of fund raising events have taken place to raise the money to take the play to the Fringe.

Past fund raisers include:

A sponsored walk form the Nomad Theatre to the Electric Theatre in Guildford on to the New Victoria Theatre in Woking then back to the Nomad Theatre.

A sponsored car wash weekend.

A Halloween Party.

A New Years Eve Party.

Leg waxing.

Once the money has been raised for A Few Good Men the fund raising will not stop there. Our aim is to do more fund raising events through out the year and into next with events such as The Nomads Musical Love Affair Cabaret. This will be held at the Riverside Arts Centre in Sunbury. The whole concept of taking the Nomads to different venues is not only to raise money for the Theatre but to also promote and advertise the Theatre.

With enough fund raising events we aim to raise money not only to support the shows we put on at the Theatre but to also invest in it. New stage lights, sound system, projector are amongst a few things that need renewing.

If anybody has anymore ideas on raising funds then please contact a member of the Committee and put your ideas forward
