The Gin Game by D L Coburn
24 - 28 September A Studio production directed by Martin Lawrance
The Boston Globe described this play as a "vibrant study of loneliness, disillusion, old age and death, yet fiercely funny"
This is a prime opportunity for anyone who yearns to play a good character part. Full of extreme emotions for blinding uncontrollable rage to tears of despair. Don't miss this chance to play one of these two wonderful deep and troubled characters who are destitute of hope and happiness but still cling to a thread of humanity (however tenuous).
The characters:
Weller Martin Physically ailing, destitute and elderly.
Fonsia Dorsey Prim, self righteous and elderly
Both parts can be played by anyone from 40-ish up.
Auditions are Sunday 2nd June at 2:30 pm and Tuesday 4th June at 8pm, both at the theatre. |
