Get ready for something a little out of the ordinary taking place in The Royal Academy's Annenberg courtyard...

Never one for a straight story, (if you exclude his 1999 film named, ahem... The Straight Story that is) David Lynch throws everything he's got into the absolutely bonkers, bizarre and beautiful Mulholland Drive. If you thought Twin Peaks was a little bit too normal, then this will be perfect for you - there's mysterious nightclubs, women with no identities, sinister cowboys and monsters lurking behind diner dumpsters.

It's hard to know what's real and what's an illusion with Mulholland Drive, but one thing 's for sure: it sucks you in and keeps your eyes glued to the screen.
