Rowan Bangs and Roanna Cochrane were both in shows on the Edinburgh Fringe this year. Val Cochrane writes:
We all had a brilliant time. Rowan was in a one-man show called Red Peter which was well recived and enjoyed by all. Roanna was in Jean Anouilh's The Orchestra, a black comedy, in which she killed herself for the love of the pianist. The review spoke of the 'talented cast', who gave a 'polished and entertaining performance'. We actually followed the Nomads' example and sold out completely We attribute this to our street performances and our wonderful T-shirts (designed by Robin Williams of the Young Nomads).
We will be giving one last per performance of The Orchestra at Notre Dame Senior School on the evening of Friday 19 September. Contributions of £5 each for some French refreshments and the performance will go towards our next trip to the Edinburgh Fringe.
Please phone Roanna for tickets! |

Last month we mentioned our new website, and how good it is. Well, other people think so too! Lauren entered the website into an annual competition for excellence on the web - the E-commerce Awards - which is sponsored by both government and industry. We have been shortlisted within the South East region entries, from a national entry of nearly 3000. The regional awards are to be announced on 19th September at a reception in Woking, and Francis Pindar will be there to (hopefully) walk away with the prize. Watch this space for further updates - and keep your fingers crossed! See http://www.ecommerce-awards.co.uk/shortlist/se.html for more information on the competition. |
