Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen

We’re going ‘all in’ for this Queen/Freddie Mercury tribute this summer ‘cause we’re having a good time! The story of the band is really the story of phenomenon Farrokh Bulsara, as was. The film charts Mercury’s breaking free of his traditional Parsi upbringing to join the young band as lead singer. ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, a 4 octave vocal range, extraordinary live performances, and flamboyant Mercury’s insatiable appetites – the rest is rock history, told here with enthusiasm. The film has had a bit of a difficult journey. Surviving band members were reluctant to, once again, give Mercury centre stage which resulted in some terminal ‘creative differences’ along the way. Ultimately, though, Rami Malek (Mr Robot), complete with dental prosthetics for the famous overbite, inhabits the role with supreme gusto and, just for a moment or two, we are reminded of what a huge talent was lost.

Like Queen, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is three parts good… and one part absolute joyful, fabulous entertainment that makes you forget everything else around it.” (Empire)  We say, it’s a kind of magic!
