Carpenters Road Lock

Get Tickets Now

The Canal & River Trust invite you to the re-opening of Carpenters Road Lock, a unique double gated radial lock which sits in a natural amphitheatre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. During the day you can enjoy free boat trips, stand up paddle boarding, dragon boat racing, rowing, dance, live music and performances all for free, as well as great street food. The evening will host an outdoor screening in this beautiful waterway setting, which will overlook the London Stadium and Orbit. As well as the main film, we will host an exclusive introduction with the writer and screen local shorts.

This promises to be a truly special and intimate evening along a waterway which will be re-opened for the first time in 40 years.

This restoration is supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund, London Legacy Development Corporation and Inland Waterways Association.
